‘INTELLECTION’

In an attempt to allow the students to experience the joy of new learning ,Modern Era Convent B 1 Janakpuri organized an online event  ‘INTELLECTION’ for classes VI to VIII. This structured activity based programme provided an opportunity for reinforcing the lessons already learnt in the classroom, whereby the students got an opportunity to sharpen their communication skills , time management and confidence .The event commenced with an interesting activity ‘YOUNG HISTORIANS ‘ for grade VIII students . The students enacted the role of eminent historical characters of different periods like Ancient, Medieval and Modern period and reminded of the various forgotten heroes and legends who played a major role in shaping the history of the world. Their appropriate costumes looked adorable .  ‘SCIENTASTIC’ was the activityfor the  budding scientists of grade VII. Students demonstrated variety of experiments highlighting science in dailylife . Students were asked questions related to the experiments performed by them  to assess their  conceptual understanding  .Science is all about exploration and discovery and this activity served the purpose  . ‘MATH – O – MANIA’ was the activity for grade VI students. The event was  idealized to make Mathematics subject interesting.In this activity Maths quiz was conducted wherein students learnt many basic concepts of Mathematics in a simple and playful way .

 Students immaculate and effortless presentations left all awestruck. The winners were awarded E- certificates . Overall , it was heart warming to see student’s par excellence performance . The event was a learning experience for one and all.
